TRADE was founded by John and Edith Stanley.
The ministry is rooted in the area of Edith’s upbringing; Kimaya, Philippines. After living in America for over thirty years and a dramatic conversion experience, Edith returned to the place that she vowed never to return because it was “too poor and too hot.”
The vision for TRADE began in Edith’s heart in the parking lot of Johnson Beach in Perdido Key, Florida where she received the mental blue print for the mission and ministry center. The ministry began with one sewing student in Gingoog City, Philippines making backpacks and has since expanded and grown into a multi faceted ministry.
